Audits are the heart of the safety management system. An audit is a review of a company’s health and safety processes to ensure that the risks that can harm the company’s employees are addressed through systematic methods.
The BCMEA COR Program is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the integrity of the auditor program. This includes addressing issues around the requirements of professional responsibility. Auditors are expected to act in a responsible and professional manner at all times during the auditing process.
All audits, certification and maintenance, are completed by qualified people who have attended training on the BCMEA COR audit tool.
